What is Projectile Motion?

This explains the curved path of a stone when you throw it at a mango tree.

The secret is to look at the motion in two parts: horizontally, the stone moves at a constant speed (ignoring air). Vertically, gravity accelerates it downwards. Combining these two makes that beautiful curved shape we call a Parabola.
