Momentum is the quantity of motion in a moving body. Formula: p = mv (mass × velocity).

A slow-moving truck has a lot of momentum because of its huge mass. A fast-moving bullet also has a lot of momentum because of its high velocity. Momentum is why a goalkeeper needs strong hands to stop a hard shot—they have to counteract a lot of momentum!
