What is Fleming's Left Hand Rule?

This is a trick to remember how electric motors work. Hold up your left hand with thumb, first finger, and second finger all at right angles.

• Thumb = Motion (Force)
• First Finger = Field (Magnetic Field)
• Second Finger = Current

If you know the direction of the Field and Current, your thumb tells you which way the wire will move!
