This gives us the famous formula: F = ma (Force = mass × acceleration).

It means that the heavier an object is (mass), the more force you need to move it (accelerate it). Pushing a wheelbarrow full of sand is harder than pushing an empty one because the full one has more mass, requiring more force to get the same acceleration.
