These are the "Holy Grail" of kinematics! We use them to predict the future position or speed of an object moving in a straight line with constant acceleration.
- v = u + at
- s = ut + ½at²
- v² = u² + 2as
Where u = initial velocity, v = final velocity, a = acceleration, t = time, and s = displacement. Memorize these; you will use them a lot!
