No, and this is a very common trap! Mass is the amount of matter in an object. It is measured in kilograms (kg). Your mass is the same whether you are in Lagos, in London, or on the Moon.

Weight, however, is a FORCE. It is the force of gravity pulling on your mass. It is measured in Newtons (N). Because gravity on the Moon is weaker than on Earth, you would weigh less on the Moon, even though your mass (the amount of "you") hasn't changed!
